Benjamin Long has created a series of surreal tableaux based on the botanical drawing format which combines strangely beautiful plant forms with architectural elements.  Long received his fine art training at Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.  Museum exhibitions include the Lancaster Museum of Art (Lancaster, PA), Woodmere Art Museum (Philadelphia), Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art (Johnstown, PA), Philadelphia Museum of Art, State Museum (Harrisburg, PA), Allentown Art Museum (PA), Delaware Art Museum (Wilmington, DE), Reading Museum (PA).  His work is in the permanent collections of Pennsylvania Museums: Lancaster Museum of Art and the La Salle University Art Museum.
